INFORMATION NOTICE ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA 

As AbilityPool Bilişim Yazılım Ticaret Eğitim Danışmanlık ve Arge A.Ş. (“AbilityPool”), we attach utmost importance to the protection and security of your personal data. Within this scope, and in accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“the Law”), we would like to inform you as the Data Controller in the most transparent way regarding how your personal data is collected, the purposes of processing, legal grounds for processing, and your rights.

Your personal data is processed for the purposes listed in the table below, in accordance with the legal grounds specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.

To carry out donation and volunteering activities. It is necessary to process the personal data of the parties to the contract, provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract.

To carry out accounting and finance processes. To ensure the legal security of Abilitypool and the people in a relationship with Abilitypool. To fulfill our obligations arising from the legislation. To provide data security processes. It is mandatory for the data controller to fulfill his legal obligation. 

Data Transfers and Recipients 

For donation payments, we work with service providers iyzico and Param. In this context, the banking information you share is not accessed by AbilityPool, and is stored solely by iyzico. 

With your explicit consent, your name, surname, phone number, and donation amount may be shared with your Company Manager and the Foundation/Association to which you donate, for the purpose of reporting, tracking, and transparency. 

Method of Data Collection 

Your personal data may be collected by AbilityPool via written or verbal application forms, electronic platforms, and our website, either through automated or non-automated means, in accordance with the purposes specified in this Information Notice. 

Retention Period of Personal Data 

Your personal data will be retained for the duration necessary for the processing purposes mentioned above and in accordance with legal regulations. Additionally, in case of any legal dispute, your personal data may be retained within the statute of limitations for the purpose of legal defense. 

Measures and Commitments Regarding Data Security 

AbilityPool commits to: 

  • Preventing unlawful processing of personal data, 

  • Preventing unlawful access to personal data, 

  • Ensuring the secure storage of personal data, 

by implementing necessary technical and administrative security measures and conducting regular audits. 

AbilityPool will not disclose the personal data obtained to third parties in violation of the applicable legislation, nor will it use the data for purposes other than those stated. 

Your Rights Under the Law 

According to Article 11 of the Law, you have the right to: 

  • Learn whether your personal data is being processed, 

  • Request information if your personal data has been processed, 

  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used accordingly, 

  • Know the third parties to whom personal data has been transferred, domestically or abroad, 

  • Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, 

  • Request deletion or destruction of personal data under the conditions set forth in the Law, 

  • Request notification of these corrections or deletions to third parties to whom the data has been transferred, 

  • Object to decisions made solely by automated systems, 

  • Request compensation if you suffer damages due to unlawful processing. 

How to Submit Requests Regarding Your Rights 

To exercise your rights, you can submit your requests in writing to:

In your request, you must include: your name, surname, Turkish ID number (or passport number if a foreigner), residential or business address, contact details (email, phone), and the subject of your request. If the response to your request exceeds 10 pages, a fee may be charged in accordance with legislation. If the response is delivered via a physical medium (CD, flash drive, etc.), you may be asked to cover the cost. 

Amendments to This Notice 

AbilityPool reserves the right to amend the terms of this Information Notice at any time by publishing an updated version. The changes will take effect on the date of publication.
